We are in the middle of a historic Black History Month, and what better time to support Black American/African-American/African owned businesses than now? Not as well known as I think it should be, EWADARA, an online marketplace where you can shop for beautiful products created by designers from all over Africa, features a vast selection of fashion, beauty and lifestyle items inspired by the African lifestyle. Remaining dedicated to ethical & sustainable fashion brands in Africa, the diverse styles and designs are mostly handmade with ancestral techniques.
The Jacqui African Print Blazer Dress - Hermine was created by British-born designer Abenaa Pokuaa, owner, founder and creator of the British fashion brand, Ohema Ohene. In her designs, she utilizes rich prints that are directly sourced from Ghana. Described as, "Left and right sides in contrasting botanical African prints, with a central opening at the back and side pockets at the front." This blazer dress is double-breasted with large buttons on the front, and handmade in Ghana.
Much like the aforementioned designs, The Jacqui African Print Blazer Dress by Abenaa Pokuaa of Ohema Ohene is comprised of center back vent with side front pockets and double-breasted. One will undoubtedly look gorgeous.
African designers closely follow what is on trend, and each design will assist you in being at the forefront of fashion. Happy Black History Month ✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿!!
Note: Additional beautiful sophisticated and elegant African-Printed designs are outlined below.
